Wayback 2000, I was employed in a Christian School in Quezon City. Biology was the subject I first handled. My undegrad preparation was 'general science', that's why I really did struggle discussing biological concepts. The curriculum used was 'A BEKA' an American curriculum for Christian Education. Honestly, that was the beginning of my exposure: to the subject, to microscopes, microslides, laboratory, investigatory projects, etc. But at the end of the first year, I was given general science subjects. That's where I was able to actualize myself specially in the earth sciences. My command for science research, and yes robotics was strengthened. I was one of the first teachers trained for the First Philippine Robotics Olympiad, the winning team in the elementary level (of which I was one of the trainers) was sent to China in 2002.
